Recently we had the great pleasure of a visit from Angie Aristone. Angie is an animal communicator and she is amazing. During her visit she related to us what 4 of our horses and 8 of our dogs had to say! They were very chatty! They told us of past events, what they liked, how they felt, and ... they made a few requests ... of course, they did!
Penny wants more stud muffins and she wants them “so they fill my whole mouth”. I confess that I used to always break them when I gave them to her, but now I offer her two at a time. She takes them together and seems happy with her mouth full of molasses. She also wondered why I don’t bring the little square treats into the arena anymore, noting it appeared to be a seasonal event. (Well, Penny, sugar cubes melt in my pocket in the summer!!!) She wants to go for a walk behind the trees, which is where we walk the dogs, not the horses, but ok, we can do that. And she mentioned the flies – not so bad – (see previous post-Yeah!). Oh and she reminded me they needed a new salt lick in the field, so helpful, I kept forgetting, done now. Head mare is always managing the field.
Addie said she is fast, and she is! She loves to show off what she can do, especially in front of the other horses (who are a little uppity at times). But, oh my God, she wants to wear pink and she wants a sparkly crown! She now has a pink saddle pad and matching polos. It highlights her redder tones really nicely. (Addie, you are not My Little Pony but I do have to admit you look Fabulous in Pink!!! I’m on the trail for a sparkly crown...)
Freddie wants more TimBits and a moisturizer for his face (Judy is wondering if he wants wrinkle cream or anti-aging. I just don’t know.). And he wants reassurance that he isn’t missing any treats the others may be getting and, oh yeah, hot food in the winter. (He’s going to be a problem...)
It was all very fun and very reassuring. Our horses are good and so are our dogs. Most importantly, all of us who were together for the day shared our deep love of our animals and had a lot of laughs and fun. We were happy to know their only real needs were for greater pleasure. We can do that.
Thank you Angie!
